Why I’m Still Undecided…

It’s things like this which leave me undecided as to whom I will vote for. I’m going to let the politicians do their little flip flop dance for a little while longer and decide on what exactly they want their platform to be before I decide on which of the candidates I will vote for.

One Response to “Why I’m Still Undecided…”

  1. This is does not differ from Obama’s platform. From the beginning he has said that the biggest problem with Washington today is the rigid line between Republican and Democrat. He has called for a return to the days when the two parties could compromise in the name of getting something done. The most important paragraph in that article is below:

“My interest is in making sure we’ve got the kind of comprehensive energy policy that can bring down gas prices,” Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, said in an interview with the Palm Beach Post. “If, in order to get that passed, we have to compromise in terms of a careful, well-thought-out drilling strategy that was carefully circumscribed to avoid significant environmental damage — I don’t want to be so rigid that we can’t get something done.”

If we have to allow for some drilling in order to get comprehensive energy reform bills passed, then so be it. Politics should not be a 0 sum game.
